Post Import

The Post Import options specify any functions you wish to be performed on the imported P&ID after import. These options can help automatically set up your process plant and process model reducing any manual tasks which may need to be ran later.

To run any of the Post Import options select the corresponding check box. The Post Import Options are

  • Identify Symbols - Hazid Integrity will Identify any symbols using the Icon Mapping
  • Use Only Project Mappings - When enabled with Identify symbols only mappings set up within the project will be used to identify the symbols.
  • Model Library Mapping - When enabled on deselection of Project Mapping Hazid Integrity will update any unknown Project mapping symbols with those found in the Model Library.
  • Identify Instruments - Hazid Integrity will Identify Instruments and safeguards based on the Instrument Mapping
  • Connected Instruments - Hazid Integrity will associate Instruments with their main equipment items or process piping
  • Identify Fluids - Hazid Integrity will identify any fluids found within the P&ID which match with those in the Fluid Library and fluidise the plant based on this.
  • Run Equations - Hazid Integrity will run the eqautions within the system on the data imported as part of the import process
  • Update Default Configuration Name - Hazid Integrity will update the configuration name to be the same as the Drawing during the update process.
