Import Drawing From SmartPlant

In order to run a Safety Analysis or P&ID Integrity rules within Hazid Integrity there must be drawings present in the Project. Hazid Integrity uses Llama Automation to interpret and extract all relevant drawing configurations from your P&ID installation for use.

Hazid Integrity can import from any version of SmartPlant P&ID and can import from multiple different sites or Plants into one Hazid Integrity Project. To Import from SmartPlant you must be able to connect to the site which the drawings reside on.

Upon opening the Drawing Import Form will automatically connect to the last site and plant you had open within SmartPlant P&ID.

Hazid Integrity translates the SmartPlant data structures into the Hazid XML import file for efficient importing of the data. If you wish to store the XML files for future import or debugging you must select a Parsed Drawing Folder location.

The Folder name will appear red if the folder is not available to the Client machine.

You can then select the P&IDs for import from SmartPlant or update any P&ID currently within your Project. For importing and updating the P&ID see Import/Update P&ID

Note: You must have SmartPlant P&ID installed on the computer that is conducting the Import or Update task.
