Import Options

When Importing or updating P&IDs you have the option of specifying a number of different tasks which can be carried out during the procedure. These options allow the P&ID to be automatically setup, with additional data and rules which will reduce any post import work required to be carried out.

The options available in the tabs are:

  • Destination - Select the destination location for the Imported drawing For more Information see Destination
  • Transfer - Transfer any Model Library configuration files which will allow mappings to take place during the import. For more Information see Transfer
  • Pre Import Tasks - Set how you would like the system to deal with items within the P&ID. For more Information see Pre Import Tasks
  • Post Import Tasks - Set what extra configuration you would like Hazid Integrity to conduct on the P&ID after Import. For more Information see Post Import Tasks
  • Model Configuration - Select which model configuration rules are run after the import has completed. For more Information see Model Configuration Rule Selection
  • Rule Based Mapping - Select which icon mapping rules are run after the import has completed. For more Information see Icon Mapping Rule Selection
