Engineering Integrity Options

Accurate Data is essential for good plant design, and they are invaluable for safe operation and maintenance, and effective Management of Change during the plant's lifetime.

Engineering Integrity ensures data is correct, complete and consistent. It provides a fast and efficient way to check that diagrams and database information comply with standards and best practices.

Hazid Engineering Integrity Options are available with an active licence. These options deal with the imanaging running and evaluation of all rule results.

All options visible upon login are dependent upon the User Permisions created by the administrator. The options are context sensitive to the location that you have selected and available through the right click of the mouse button.

Root Options

All P&ID Integrity Root Options, what you see when logged in is a result of User Permissions. If you do not see an option you believe you should have please speak to your Administrator.

• Import Rules - Imports All Rule Types into the Project
• Import Model Configuration - Imports Model Configuration Rule Types into the Project
• Editor - Creates and Manages all of the Engineering Integrity Rules for your Project
• Model Configuration - Create Model Configuration Rules within your Project
• Rule Results - View and Evaluate the Engineering Integrity Rule analysis
• Custom Type Editor - Create New Custom Rule Types for Engineering Integrity
• Rule Group List Editor - Create New Rule Groups for Engineering Integrity
• Run Rules - Run a Engineering Integrity Analysis
• Generate Integrity Export - Exports a Hazid Datasource (.hds) file of the project which can be opened using P&ID Integrity Viewer

Drawing Group Level

All P&ID Integrity options, what you see when logged in, are a result of User Permissions. If you do not see an option you believe you should have please speak to your administrator. There is just one P&ID Integrity option available from the drawing group level:

• Results - Opens the rule results on a drawing group level basis. Select to browse to view rule results for a particular drawing configuration
• Generate Integrity Export - Exports a Hazid Datasource (.hds) file of the project which can be opened using P&ID Integrity Viewer
• Run Rules - Run a Engineering Integrity Analysis

Drawing Level

All P&ID Integrity options, what you see when logged in, are a result of User Permissions. If you do not see an option you believe you should have please speak to your administrator. There are three P&ID Integrity options available from the drawing level:

• Results - Displays the rule results for a particular drawing configuration.
• Model Config Results - Displays the results of model configuration rule triggers in the same view as the Rule Results
• Rule Analysis Log - Displays a summary of failed rule results with failure messages. There are three types of failure messages: Failure Notes, Remedial Action and Rule Failure Summary. For more information on this see Failure Summary
• SAFE Results - Displays a SAFE chart showing the major items on a P&ID and the safety systems in place to prevent or mitigate an event
