📄️ Identify Centerlines
In competently drafted drawings, different line types (primary piping, secondary piping, utility piping, pnematic lines, canbus, electrical cables etc) are split out into different layers, the centrline identification manager uses this (where present) to quickly and easily automate the identification of these connectors based upon their layer.

📄️ Connection Rules
While connectivity can be processed manually, by selecting the items you wish to connect and clicking the Add Connections button in the connections tab of Aurelia, it is expedient to create rules to largely automate the process of connectivity definition.

📄️ Piperuns Rules
Once connections have been established, it is useful to organize the connected piping sections and components into pipe runes. There is functionality present within Aurelia to manually link these components into runs (via the Piperuns panels), but it is more expedient to use rules to do this.
📄️ Label Mapping Rules
When a drawing is first imported the text data on the drawing is exactly that, dumb text, with no links to any of the symbols to which it is relevant. There is functionality present within Aurelia to manually convert these text attributes to labels, and connect them to their relevant equipment graphics (via the text and attachments panels), but it is more expedient to use rules to do this.
