Drawing Groups

Create Drawing Group​

Drawing Groups are used as placeholders for sets of P&IDs and their Configurations. You can set Hazid Integrity to mimic your drawing hierarchy from P&ID or you can create a new hierarchy to suit the process work flow of your Hazid Integrity Project.

Drawing Groups can be nested within each other in the Project tree. They can only be created from the Project Root or another Drawing Group, not from a Drawing or Configuration.

To create a Drawing group select "Add drawing group" off of the right-click menu at your desired location in the tree.

The form will detail which Project the Drawing group is being created in and any parent it may have. Enter the new Drawing Group Name

OK will save and close the form

Cancel will close and revert all changes

Delete Drawing Group​

When deleting a selected Drawing Group all sub item including nested Drawing Groups, P&IDs and Configurations and associated information will be deleted also.

Select Yes to confirm

Move Drawing Groups​

The Move Drawing Groups window is used to move drawing groups from one location to another within the same project

To move drawings, the user selects which drawing group(s) they wish to move using the checkboxes, then selects the group they wish to move them to.

This enables the Move button, clicking it moves the selected drawing group(s) to the specified location

Clicking Cancel exits the window.

Drawing Group Options​

All Drawing Group options that you see when logged in is a result of Hazid Integrity User Permissions. If you do not see an option you believe you should have please speak to your Administrator.

  • Create Drawing Group - Create a Drawing Group at a specified level beneath the Project Root
  • Delete Drawing Group - Delete the specified Drawing Group and all items beneath it
  • Rename Drawing Group - Allows the user to rename the selected drawing group
  • Move Drawing Group - Opens the Move Drawing Groups window
  • Fluids and Materials - Displays all Fluids and Materials of Construction for each item in the plant detailing where potential incompatibilities could arise.
  • Instrumentation and Control Loops - Displays the control loops available in the project and the instruments associated with the loops
  • Associated Instruments - Displays the Associated instruments of the equipment in the Project
  • Contextualisation - Set Equipment to be in specific operating states, such as Valve Open/ Closed Pump Running/Standby
  • Create New Document - Opens the new document creation window
  • Data Editor - Opens the Data Integrity module for all the drawings/documents within the group and its sub-groups
  • Mappings
    • P&ID Symbol Mapping - Allows you to create specific Icon mappings for single items within the P&IDs
  • Reports Shows the list of the Drawing Group level SPPID Reports
  • Updates
    • Update Drawing - Updates the P&ID when changes have occurred
    • Update Fluid Properties - Updates the Fluid properties associated to the P&ID
    • Update Drawing Symbols - Runs the update drawing symbols routine for all drawings in the group
    • Update Property Conversions - Runs the routine that updates property unit conversions for all drawings in the group
    • Update Symbol Mapping - Apply Icon mapping to all P&ID and configurations below the Drawing Group
    • Update SPPID files in database - Runs the SPPID file location updater for all drawings in the group
    • Update Source Connection Attributes - Allows the user to update the SPPID source connection data - used when SPPID is migrated to a different database
    • Update Drawing Item Equipment - Updates the "Equipment" attribute of all drawing items in the group
    • Update Model Versions - Updates all models in the group to the current version in the asssoicated library
  • Exports
    • Push Linked Data to SPPID - Opens the linked data push via script dialog
    • Writeback all external data - Allows all external data within the group to be written back via the External Writeback Options
    • Export Drawings as Intermediate - Allows all drawings within the group to be exported to a specified location as xml intermediates
    • Export Drawings as Graphviz - Exports all drawings within the group to a specified location as graphs of their connections the the graph viz format
    • Export SPPID drawings to HDX - Exports all SPPID drawings within the group to a specified location as Hazid data exchange (HDX) files
  • Automation
    • Run Model Configuration - Opens the model Configuration Rule runner
    • Run Aurelia batch operations - Opens the Batch Operation Processing Window
    • Run multi batch operations - Opens the multi batch operation window
  • Dashboard
    • SPPID Dashboard - Allows the user to access the dashboard
  • Run Equations - Runs the equations on all items in the drawing group
  • Engineering Integrity - Holds the drawing group level options for the Engineering Integrity module

*These options are only applicable to SPPID. If SPI or SPEL data has been imported then these options will not be available
