Compliance Reports By Plant Item Type

There are eight different compliance reports available from the project level:

  • Cables - Displays all of the cables in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the cable is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant cable. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant cable. The cable is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Instruments - Displays all of the instruments in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the instrument is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant instrument. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant cable. The instrument is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Lines - Displays all of the lines in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the line is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant line. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant line. The line is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Loops - Displays all of the loops in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the loop is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant loop. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant loop. The loop is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Panels - Displays all of the panels in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the panel is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant panel. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant panel. The panel is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Process Equipment - Displays all of the process equipment in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the process equipment is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant item of process equipment. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant item of process equipment. The process equipment is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Terminal Strips - Displays all of the terminal strips in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the terminal struip is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant terminal strip. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant terminal strip. The terminal strip is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.
  • Wires - Displays all of the wired in a project in a table along with the relevant rule types. The report displays whether the wire is compliant in each rule type. A "YES" in a cell represents a compliant wire. A "NO" in a cell represents a non-compliant wire. The wire is either compliant or non-compliant depending on the compliance threshold set for the rule type.

There are three options for each report.

  • View - Displays the report in the Report Viewer
  • Update - Updates the Report. For example if you import an addtional drawing to a project, then to ensure that the latest report includes data from the new drawing you should select Update
  • Export to - Allows you to export the report to an Excel, PDF or Word document
