Advanced Filter

The Advanced Filter allows you to combine multiple different types of filter using custom logic. When multiple filters are active, they are normally combined with AND logic, however the Advanced Filter can override that with any combination of AND, OR and NOT statements.

The Advanced Filter is accessed via the Advanced Filter tab, which is enabled via the Views Menu.

Advanced Filter

  1. On/Off - Select the 'On' button to enable the Advanced Filter
  2. Filters - Select from Equipment (E), Model (M), Property (P) and Rule (R) filters and add them to the statement with UpArrow Button. This applies what those filters are currently set to - see Equipment, Model, Property and Rule Filters
  3. Operators - Select And, Or or Not operators and add them to the statement with UpArrow Button.
  4. Brackets - Use these buttons to add open and closed brackets to the statement.
  5. Filter Logic Statement - The logic statement you create is displayed here. Terms can be deleted using the backspace key.

To apply the filters in the combination set by the Advanced filter, click the Filter Main Button button on the Data Editor toolbar.
