Main Grid

The Data Editor lists every item in a drawing or drawing group as rows in the main grid.

Which items are listed can be changed through the use of filters - see Project Filter, Model Filter, Equipment Filter, Property Filter, Rule Filter, Symbol Filter, Advanced Filter

Columns can be added to the grid to display data associated with the items via Column Setup. Columns can be re-arranged by clicking and dragging the headers. The list can be sorted according to the values in a column by double-clicking on that column to sort by ascending. Double-clicking again sorts by descending, and double-clicking a third time restores default sorting.

Right-clicking on the column header gives the following options:

  • Distinct Values - Opens the Distinct Values panel showing distinct values in that column

  • Remove Column - Removes the column from the grid view

  • Customise Rounding - Provides options to change the number of digits:

    Rounding type can be set to Standard, Up, Down or None and the number of decimal places or significant figure may be specified

  • Remove Empty Columns - Removes all columns with no values in the current grid.

Ce;lls can be edited by double-clicking them provided you have edit permissions for the property.
