Fluid Editor

Hazid Integrity Fluid Editor system is an off-the-shelf, configurable, Fluid and Material data management and storage system. It electronically logs, manages, and controls fluid and material data relevant to safety studies.

Hazid Integrity fluid editor helps projects to increase efficiency and achieve faster results by unifying the storage of fluid and MoC data into one easy to access and interrogate database. The fluid Editor system is also interrogated with Safety Integrity in order to add intelligence to the results presented to the Hazop team, based upon the properties of the Fluids and Materials present within the plant being studied.

It should be noted that while present within the package, the Fluid Editor is not currently in use, these help files are for reference only.

To access the Fluid Editor select the Fluids Icon icon.

The Fluid Editor options are available from right click of the Fluid Tree

  • Open Fluid Library - Opens the selected Fluid Library. For more Information see Creating and Viewing Fluids
  • Open List Editor - Holds the Fluid editor Lists. For more Information see Fluid List Editor
  • Fluid Templates - Allows you to create the Fluid templates for adding data. For more Information see Fluid Templates
  • Create New Version - Creates a new version of the Fluid editor. For more Information see New Fluid Version
  • Refresh Library - Refreshes the Fluid Library from the database

Fluids and Materials​

Hazid Integrity fluidises the plant based on the Fluid Library and the Fluids specified within the lines this allows the system to determine any areas where fluids can cause Incompatibility issues. The Fluids form opens at the level in the Project tree where you invoke it from. You can then browse to any level in the Project tree bellow the entry level to find the equipment item you wish to view the fluid properties of .

The first tree within the Fluids and Materials form is a mimic of the Project tree from that entry level

You must browse the tree to your desired Configuration level to open the Model Tree

The Model Tree displays all of the Hazid Knowledge Models available within the selected Configuration.

Equipment which have fluid details associated with them are visible in the Equipment list. This is grouped by State.

Selecting the Equipment displays the fluid MSDS fpr the equipment.
