Fluid Resolution

Hazid Integrity Fluidises the plant by propagating fluids along process lines till they enter a major equipment. This allows Safety Analysis to deliver Cause -Consequence scenarios which are relevant to the process modeled. As there may be many fluids entering an equipment item from different sources Hazid Integrity allows you o specify a controlling factor for the main fluid to be determined against. The Fluid Resolution allows you to specify certain attributes which you can use to determine the controlling fluid.

To Specify the fluid resolution select ApplyResolvingGroup

You must select a resolving operator which will determine how the attribute group is consolidated when multiple are selected.

These will act against all attributes associated to the Fluid.

You then must select which attributes will be used to determine the controlling fluid by selecting Add

This will open the addition form

Select the Property you wish to use and select the Grouping you wish to use.

The Grouping available is

  • MIN - The minimum value of the property
  • MAX - The Maximum value of the Property
  • MEDIAN - The Median value of the Property
  • MODE - The Mode value of the Property

You may add multiple attributes to the Fluid Resolution. The sequence of additions determines how the controlling fluid will be determined.

Select Save to save the Fluid Resolution property Select Cancel to revert changes and close the form.

Select Close to exit the Fluid Resolution form
