Rule List

Model Configuration Rules must exist within a Model Configuration Rule Group, they appear in the rule group as a list, and the order of the list denotes the order in which they are run on their corresponding Integrity Models. To add a Model Configuration Rule click on the Add button in the Rules panel, this opens the Model Configuration Rule creator

Fill in all the details of the form

  • Name - A name to recognise the rule by.
  • Comment - A description of the Rules action and trigger
  • Target - Here you select the equipment type (Model Group or Individual Model) that you wish the model configuration rule to act on
  • Target - Here you select the specific Model Group or Model that you wish the model configuration rule to act on, the Browse button allows you to pick your Model Group or Model from the equipment tree.

Clicking on the Ok button creates the rule, and clicking on the Cancel button exits the dialog without saving

Once you have created a rule you will need to create an action and a trigger, for the rule to be of use.
