Hazid License Client
Overview
The Hazid Licence client is the bridge which connects the licence console on the client machine with the Hazid Integrity Framework.
The Licence client works differently for those customers using the Hazid Licence system and those who use SmartPlant License Manager. The Hazid Licence client opens automatically on Hazid Integrity start up and can be viewed by right clicking the Icon in the system tray and selecting Show Licence Server Detail.

License Selection
Upon Logging in to the Hazid Framework it will attempt to retrieve a licence seat for each of the Integrity modules which you have a current permission for. If you have no module permissions a framework seat will be reserved and no module licenses will be visible.
At any time you can release a module license reserved or select one which was not reserved on login by selecting the appropriate icon.

License Client for Hazid
The Hazid Licence Client displays the Licence type, Hazid, and the company name and serial number of the authorised install key.
LicClient (Pic Required)
When opening the Hazid Licence Client for the first time you must connect to the location of your Hazid Licence Server. To do this the Client machine must be able to connect to the Licence server through the same domain.
Enter the mane of your Licence Server in the field provided and select Set (Pic Required) to save the Server name. If you wish to determine that the Licence Server is running and visible on the Domain select Check (Pic Required).
Hazid Integrity reserves all available seats for a user on login which it displays within the Client Seats section.
Seats (Pic Required)
The information available per Seat is
Seat Number The designated seat number delivered by the Licence Server Seat Code The Licence Server Module Code Seat Description The Module Name that has reserved the seat Username The Username of the person who has reserved the seat Login Time The last Login time of the User to reserve the seat
If you need to release and re-reserve seats from the licence server due to any untoward licence behaviour you can do so by selecting RefreshSeat (Pic Required). This will drop all current reserved seats and retrieve new ones from the Server. Please note that it will only retrieve available seats so may not return all seats that were released.
If Hazid Integrity has stopped working in a way that locks the seats to the client machine you may select ReleaseAllSeats (Pic Required) to return all to the Licence Server. Alternatively the Administrator may release the client seats remotely using the Hazid Licence Console.
SPLM
The Hazid Licence Client displays the Licence type, SPLM, and the company name and serial number of the authorised install key.
LicClient (Pic Required)
The Hazid Licence Client requires a fully configured SPLM client on the machine. All Messages that are delivered through Hazid Integrity or the Client originate within SPLM for any support issues please contact your Intergraph representative.
Hazid Integrity requests the SPLM Key for each module directly through the SPLM Client installed on your machine. It then uses the information passed by the SPLM client to determine if you have a valid licence key.
Seats (Pic Required)
The information available per Seat is
Seat Number The Seat number in chronological order as delivered to Hazid Integrity via SPLM Seat Code SPLM Key Seat Description SPLM Key Description Username The Username of the person who has reserved the seat Login Time The last Login time of the User to reserve the seat
If you need to release and re-reserve seats due to any untoward licence behaviour you can do so by selecting RefreshSeat (Pic Required). This will drop all current reserved seats and retrieve new ones from the the SPLM Client. Please note that it will only retrieve available seats so may not return all seats that were released.
If Hazid Integrity has stopped working in a way that locks the seats to the client machine and you are unable to scavenge you may select ReleaseAllSeats (Pic Required) to return all to the SPLM Client.
Due to the Intergraph licensing model there is no Framework seat available when using SPLM. In this instance the Framework will attempt to retrieve the first available SPLM seat regardless of permissions for use as a framework seat.
