Toolbars

Aurelia has a menu bar and three standard toolbars, two at the top of the window and another at the base.

Aurelia Menu Bar

The Menu bar in Aurelia is used to access various functionality

File

Option	Description
Open HDX File	Opens a file browser to enable you to open a drawing from an ".HDX" file.
Open From Project	Opens the project tree browser to enable you to open a drawing from the project tree
Exit	Exits Aurelia

Symbol Template Library

Option	Description
Set Location	Opens a folder location browser to enable you to specify the location of the Symbol Template Library that you wish to use.
Set Missing Auto Region Library Model Path	Scans the defined Symbol Template Library and sets the Model Path of the symbol for the Auto Regioning

Drawing Checks

Option	Description
Check Graphics Attributes	Runs the Routine to Check and Remediate the attibutes that define the graphical items
Re-Sequence TextBlock Attributes	Re-sequences textblock attributes to a logical numbering system (TextBlock1,2,3...)
Remove orphaned branches	Removes branches that have no connections
Remove orphaned attributes	Removes attributes that have no parent item
Remove orphaned equipment	Removes equipment that has no parent drawing
Synchronise equipment identifier attribute	Synchronises the ID attribute with the equipment id and removes the now-redundant EquipmentID attribute
Check and add graphical identifiers	Generates graphical identifiers for all graphical items that do not have one
Recalculate graphical attributes	Recalculates the centre, extents, width and height attributes for graphics
Update TextBlock attributes (Rotation, Font, Size, Model)	Updates the rotation, font and size attributes of all text equipment, also defines the Model Name and Path - for text that does not have those attributes
Update TextBlock graphics	Trims whitespace and resizes text block areas to fit the text within them
Update Text	Synchronises all TextBlocks with their VTextProperty attribute (the text to be displayed) and adds it if it is missing
Recalculate Leader Lines	Recalculates and refreshes the drawn leader lines

Drawing Tools

Option	Description
Identify Centrelines	Opens the Centreline identification manager
Generate Branching Points	Runs the routine that generates the connection and model detail where pipes/lines join or split
Edit Rotation Attributes	Opens the Rotation Attribute definition manager
Launch Package Creator	Launches the Package Creator function for Exporting/Conversion of HDX drawings
Global Sheet/Layer Names	Opens the Global Sheets and Layers manager
Process Xdata attributes	Creates Aurelia attributes from the contents of the drawing Xdata attributes
Update attributes from mapped models	Updates the Model Name and Model Path attributes from the model that the graphic/text is mapped to
Add Template Library Attributes	Updates the Can Attach/Connect/Break Piperun, Never in Piperun and Maximum Connections attributes based upon the model the graphic is mapped to
Update piping/signal attributes	Updates the piping/signal identifers and numbers of connections
Create piperuns from attributes	Creates piperuns based upon the attributes that identify them, and breaks them where those attributes change
Prepare for SPPID injection	Runs the SPPID injection preparation routine
Export to AutoCAD	Allows you to export the currently open drawing to a specific location as an AutoCAD .DWG file
Generate SPPID Background Symbol	Generates the drawing border and title block as an SPPID background file
Generate FULL SPPID Background Symbol	Generates the entire drawing as a SPPID background file
Calculate Rotation and IsMirrored Attributes	Uses dwg rotations and scale factor to generate rotation attributes for pushing to SPPID
Fix Branches: add branches to piperuns	Detects locations where pipe runs merge/split and adds branches at those points
Split TextBlocks from graphics	Moves text blocks out of graphics and into their own item
Synchronise piperun data	Creates and updates grouped piperun equipment
Output selected items as HDX	Opens a file browser to enable you to export your currently selected item(s) to a ".HDX" file.
Auto Property Break	Automatically inserts line breaks between the items to which a break label is attached based upon the Model Setup
Consolidate Attributes	Removes all invalid identification attributes and duplicate atttributes
Delete All Non-Equipment	Removes all items (graphics and text) that have not been identified as equipment (i.e. that do not have data associated with them)
Auto Split Blocks	Automatically splits symbols down to their constituent blocks, using the blocks generated during the HDX creation process
Replace Graphics	Opens the Graphics Replacement rule manager
Remove Paths From Text	Remove the path data from textblock items
Remove Overlaid Paths	Removes Duplicate Paths that have overlaid other paths, leaving a single path remaining

Project Tools

Option	Description
Set target dimensions on drawings	Allows you to set the desired dimensions (Width and Height) of the drawing

SPPID

Option	Description
Create Symbol Repository	Opens the Symbol Repository Creator for SPPID drawing creation
Hybrid drawing create	Exports the drawing automatically into SPPID

Options

Option	Description
Simplify on Panning	Simplifies the drawing when traversing it, to increase the spped at which complex drawings can be panned
Model Setup	Opens the default model manager
Auto Adapt Foreground	Sets Aurelia to automatically select high contrast colours for the layer items when the background colour is changed.
Hide Non-Equipment	Hides all drawing items that do not have attributes and therefore are not considered to be equipment
Hide Equipment	Hides all drawing items that have attributes and therefore are considered to be equipment
Symbol comparison algorithm	Hazid - Sets the symbol comparison method used in the automatic identification routine to the Hazid algorithm Emgu - Sets the symbol comparison method used in the automatic identification routine to the Emgu algorithm
Enable Drawing Tools Drawing Checks	Enables or Disables the checks performed after using the drawing tools panel to move or otherwise modify a symbol
Set SPPID Background Symbol Export Folder	Opens a file browser to enable you to define the location to which the SPPID background symbols are exported
Set AutoCAD Export Folder	Opens a file browser to enable you to define the location to which Aurelia drawings are saved to when they are exported to AutoCAD dwg format
Fix Double Rotations	Runs a routine on the entire project to repair symbol rotations that have been doubled from their correct value - this sometimes occurs during the import of legacy drawings
Set XData Parse Definitions	Opens the XData structure definition creator, used for defining the structure for input from/output to the AVEVA tools
Update Auto Connections	Enables or Disables the automatic addition of manually made connections to the connection rules
Create auto attach	Enables or Disables the automatic addition of manually made attachmentss to the attachment rules
Create Auto Label Map	Enables or Disables the automatic addition of manual label mappings to the label mapping rules

Database

Option	Description
Connection Setup	Opens the Aurelia database connection setup manager

Diagnostics

Option	Description
Enable Performance Stats Collection	Enables or Disables the collection of software performance statistics (they are saved to your local user)
Output Detail Performance Stats	Enables or Disables the collection of detailed software performance statistics (they are saved to your local user)
Output Performance Stats Summary	Enables or Disables the collection of a software performance statistics summary (they are saved to your local user)
Reset Performance Stats	Resets the performace stats
Run Open Save Benchmark	Runs a benchmark for opening/saving a drawing, the results of which are saved to your local user
Write Replace Graphics Log	Enables or Disables a log of graphical replacement functions when they are run, the results of which are saved to your local user
Write Split Blocks Log	Enables or Disables a log of block splitting functions when they are run, the results of which are saved to your local user
Write Auto Piperun Log	Enables or Disables a log of of the automatic piperun generation function when it is run, the results of which are saved to your local user
Write Auto Label Mapping Log	Enables or Disables a log of of the automatic label mapping function when it is run, the results of which are saved to your local user
Write PipeSequence Log	Enables or Disables a log of the routine that sequences the piperuns
