Hazid Administration

The interface for Administering all of the HAZID tools and functions is through the Hazid Framework. This acts as section in which Users, Groups and Departments within the Hazid Framework are defined. There are also additional Administrator Functions available for users of the Process Safety system within the HAZID Framework.

Once the Administrator has logged in to the Hazid Integrity Framework and accessed the Administration Functions they are presented with a list of options, that can be split into three main groups

  • User Adminstration - The User Administration elements allow the Administrator to manage Users, their Departments and User Groups, along with the Access Permissions (to projects and elements of the Framework) for the User/Department/Group
  • Process Safety Administration - The Process Safety Administration elements allow the Administrator to create and maintain the structures required to perform a Hazard and Operability (HazOp) Study, along with Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Determination, Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Risk Priority Numbering (RPN/iRPN) for Failure Modes and Effectes Analysis (FMEA)
  • Framework Settings - The Framework Settings elements allow the Administrator to amend the default settings that were assigned when the HAZID Framework was installed, these settings include: Action Manager Settings, Email Settings, Style Settings and default Password management.
