Overview
Introduction
The Integrity Framework system makes use of detailed engineering rules to check that the drawings and data supplied to you by your design office or vendors conform to assigned corporate standards. Integrity has the capability to perform three main types of check:
- It checks that Fields have been properly entered, and that any field that is created from others has been concatenated correctly (Item Tags, for example). It can also check that unit fields are filled in with valid units and that these fields are consistent across your application ecosystem, (comparing your instrumentation package with you P&ID package, for example).
- It checks your Data to ensure that relevant safety equipment/instrumentation is correctly connected to equipment items.
- It checks your Data ensure that the data contained in them does not create conflicts (e.g. it checks whether a pump can overpressure its downstream piping).
- It carries out the processing required to generate Safety Analysis Functional Evaluation charts for either an individual drawing or across a plant.
The Integrity Framework suite of Products also contains a Workflow Management system (Workflow Integrity) that can be used to Assign, Track, Manage and Expedite Tasks and Actions throughout the project lifecycle. This enables you to have an up to the minute view of the status of all outstanding items in the project, stored and accessed from one place, ensuring continuity of information and accurate reporting.
Provided with the Integrity Framework suite is a permission-driven data editor. In this module users can view and edit Data that has been imported into Integrity, as well as creating Data that can be written back to its host application. The permissions ensure that users only have aces to data that is relevant to their role
Features
Integrity is a data and design checking system for use with the Framework suite. It has been designed to check Data for correctness and consistency to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Building on this you can then create and apply rules to the data in order to validate that the design goals have been met. The Rule Building system has been designed to allow multiple projects to make use of the data checking system as and when they require. Key features of the Rule Builder system are:
Dual Point Rule Entry Rules can be entered in two separate locations, depending on whether they are corporate or project rules, corporate rules are stored within the model library and can be imported into a project along with the version of the model library imported, project rules are created on a particular project in order to best reflect the requirements of the client.
Repeatable Rule Checks Because the Integrity system saves the rules that are created on a project to the project database all rule checks on a project are repeatable, ensuring that compliance is maintained and that Data changes do not adversely affect the process. Clear, Concise Results The Integrity Rule Results system is designed to be easy for users to understand and work with. The intuitive interface allows Rule Results users to be up and running quickly and efficiently. With the ability to easily verify why a rule has not passed, and if there was enough pertinent data present for the rule to pass. The Rule Results also link to the Workflow Integrity system, allowing users to manage any actions arising from the Rule Results.
Data Remediation The Integrity Framework Data Editor enables users to view/edit and create data points within the Framework data manager. A customizable viewer enables users to easily access any subset of the data available to them, and effective permission management ensures that users can only change data that is relevant to them. Changes can then be automatically checked to ensure correctness, and seamlessly written back to their host application
Hazid Modules
The Integrity suite has several modules, which are used for carrying out different functions within them.
- Integrity Hub - The Integrity Hub is the main user interface through which all applications of Hazid Integrity are accessed, and project information is displayed.
- Data Integrity - The Data Editor application allows all of the data in a Hazid Integrity project to be viewed and edited in a tabulated format.
- Integrity Dashboard - The dashboard view allows you to review the overall compliance of a plant.
- Integrity Framework - The power user interface for navigating to all of HAZID Integrity tools and functions, also contains the knowledgebase and administration functionality.
- Workflow Integrity - The Integrated configurable resolution tracking solution. It electronically logs, manages, queries, and reports on action items resulting from any area of the Hazid Integrity system.
